Qualified Wisconsin homeowners may apply for the Home R&R Loan to repair and/or rehabilitate their single-family residence by applying with your local participating lender.

More Like Home Loan parameters:

• Eligible homeowners can use the loan to repair their home.
• The loan applicant must occupy the home as their primary residence.
• The home must have been constructed at least 40 years prior to the date of the loan application.
• Repair work must be completed by a Wisconsin-licensed, insured contractor.
• Loan amount may not exceed $50,000.
• WHEDA participating lenders will determine borrower eligibility.

Loan proceeds

Can be used to improve the safety, security, and efficiency of a home through the repair or remediation of:

• Exterior roofing, windows, doors
• Heating, electrical, or plumbing systems
• Lead paint, asbestos, and mold
• Other internal environmental contamination
