Gov. Walker appoints WHEDA Board Chairman

GOV. WALKER APPOINTS MARK HOGAN AS WHEDA BOARD CHAIRMAN

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker has appointed Mark R. Hogan as Chairman of the Board for the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA).  Hogan has been a Senior Advisor at BMO Harris Bank since 2010 and prior, he had been with M&I Bank since 1977. 

“I’m very excited about Governor Walker's appointment,” said WHEDA Executive Director Wyman Winston. “Mark Hogan’s vast financial experience will serve him well in this vital role of helping fulfill WHEDA’s mission.”

“It’s a tremendous honor to be appointed WHEDA’s board chair,” said Hogan.  “For over 40 years, WHEDA has been a valuable resource, providing Wisconsin residents affordable housing and economic development financing products.  It will be a privilege to work with the WHEDA staff to continue our value-based mission focused on improving the quality of life as well as stimulating economic development here in Wisconsin.”

Prior to his current role at BMO Harris Bank, Hogan served as Executive Vice President & Chief Credit Officer at Marshall & Ilsley Corp.  He currently serves on several boards in the Milwaukee area including Children’s Hospital & Health System, the Archdiocese of Milwaukee Finance Council, Divine Savior Holy Angels High School, M2 Lease Funds, and was recently appointed to the board of Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in Milwaukee.
