This is the second of a four-part training series offered by WHEDA and the Corporation for Supportive Housing that aims to help developers, community service providers and housing professionals expand Wisconsin's supply of supportive housing. The training is free and open to all. The sessions work as stand-alone events or in sequence. This second session explores what's working in housing with integrated supportive services.

Meet the trainers

Jane Bilger

Jane Bilger is a Senior Program Manager at CSH with extensive expertise planning and financing affordable and supportive housing. She designs program models and trainings to align programs with resources, build capacity and partnerships, and trouble-shoot gaps in current housing, healthcare and support service systems. As a trainer, Jane focuses on sharing information and tools that communities can use to strengthen partnerships and build capacity to address important unmet needs. Jane incorporates into trainings the philosophy, “There are no silly questions. We are all experts and will figure it out together.”

Prior to joining CSH, Jane held leadership positions with the Illinois Housing Development Authority, Chicago Department of Housing, the Philadelphia Office of Housing and Community Development, and her own consulting practice serving government clients. Jane bolstered her financial expertise in her work as Director of Finance and Lending at Illinois Facilities Fund, a community development financial institution, and as Vice President with a public finance team at W.H.Newbold’s American Capital Group in Philadelphia. Jane earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.

Amy Stezel

Amy Stetzel is the Upper Midwest-Minnesota Director for the Corporation for Supportive Housing. Amy has held previous positions as the Director of Implementation and Community Engagement at the Minnesota Interagency Council on Homelessness, and as a Senior Policy and Program Analyst for the New York City Department of Homelessness and the New York City Administration for Children’s Services. She spent her elementary school years in Neenah, WI and is a Packer’s fan – much to her husband’s chagrin. Amy holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work and Social Policy from Columbia University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Women’s Studies from St. Olaf College.
