Subcommittee of the WHEDA® board who evaluate and make a decision on any project greater than $200,000 in guarantee exposure.
- FARM
- Farm Asset Reinvestment Management
- FTE
- Full Time Equivalent (Employee)
Measurement equivalent to one full time employment position based on 2080 hours per calendar year.
- Fixed Asset
- Tangible property, such as land, buildings, machinery, fixtures, furniture
and equipment, used in the operation of a business.
- Floor Plan Line of Credit
- Short-term revolving working capital financing used by retail business
to purchase "big ticket" assets for display while pending
sale; i.e., automobiles, boats, travel trailers, snowmobiles.
- Guarantee
- WHEDA's promise to pay a lender a portion of a qualified defaulted loan.
- Interest Subsidy
- Financial assistance that reduces the interest rate or amount of interest
paid on a loan.
- ILC
- Internal Loan Committee
A group of WHEDA management and staff who evaluate and make a decision
on projects greater than $200,000 in guarantee exposure.
- LiDL
- Linked Deposit Loan Subsidy
- NBRG
- Neighborhood Business Revitalization Guarantee
- Net Worth
- The difference between total assets and total liabilities.
- Permanent Working Capital
- An amortizing term-loan used to finance the inventory, accounts receivable
and/or accounts payable of a business.
- Promissory Note
- A written promise to repay a specified sum of money either on demand,
in installments over a specified period of time or at a fixed date in
the future. Often called simply a Note.
- Revolving Line of Credit
- A specified amount of credit that is readily available to a business
from a bank for immediate borrowing as the need arises at a specified
interest rate.
- Soft Costs
- Expenses paid for items such as appraisals, credit report,
land survey, market/feasibility study, business plan, closing fee, etc.
