WHEDA Announces $800,000 in Foundation GrantsRiley to hold press conference at 1:30 p.m. at Quaker Housing, Inc. MADISON - The Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA®) Executive Director Antonio Riley announced today that the WHEDA Housing Foundation is allocating $800,000 in grants to nonprofits in Wisconsin whose mission includes meeting the housing needs of low-income or disadvantaged populations. Over $83,000 will go to non-profits in Madison, including Quaker Housing, a low-income, 70-unit senior living facility where Riley will make the announcement. Grants are awarded in two categories; emergency/transitional housing and permanent housing. WHEDA Foundation grants are awarded annually to increase the quantity and quality of housing stock serving people in need.
