How do I apply for a WHEDA guarantee?

After determining your financing needs, contact your lender to discuss the project and financing options. If it is determined that a loan guarantee is needed, your lender will submit an Agribusiness Guarantee Eligibility Form to WHEDA.

Once eligibility is determined, complete the WHEDA Loan Guarantee Application jointly with your lender. When complete, your lender will forward the application to us.

What will my lender need from me?

To begin with, provide your lender the following:

A business plan or written description of your business and the project to be financed;
Historical and current financial information (if the business is currently in existence);
Projected revenues and expenses for the next 2–3 years and written assumptions used to support the projections; and
Personal resumes and financial statements of all owners.

How long does the process take?

You can expect to receive a decision within 3–10 business days.
