These instructions describe how to download and open the PDF files that contain the IRS regulations for Affordable Housing Tax Credit Monitoring. If you are not familiar with PDF files, refer to A Quick Reference User Guide to WHEDA's Web Site for additional information.

To download an IRS Regulation PDF file:

Select the file you want to download from the PDF Format column.

A status indicator appears in the browser's status bar that indicates that the file is being retrieved. It can take several minutes to retrieve the file.

The File Download dialog box appears when the browser is ready to download the file.
Select the Save button to display the Save As dialog box.
Locate a folder in which to save the file in your usual manner.
In the File name box, type a unique name for the file and the file name extention .pdf. For example:

26CFR1_42TOC.pdf
Select the Save button to save the file in the folder and with the name you chose.
In the Download Complete dialog box, select the Open button to open the file.

Adobe Reader should start and open the file.
