How to Use Major Rehabilitation

  • Major Rehabilitation is appropriate for your customer if they wish to buy a Home that needs major improvements that equal or exceed a third of the original purchase price of the Home. If your customer currently owns a Home they will refinance the mortgage on a Home they currently own and include the rehabilitation cost into one loan.
  • The Major Rehabilitation loan covers both the interim and permanent financing so only one closing is needed.
